The White Death T-Shirt Black
T-shirt dedicated to Simo Gäyügä, a Finnish sniper, who became a legend of the Winter War of 1939–1940 and went down in history under the nickname “White Death”.
Gäyügä was a farmer and hunter before the war. During the Soviet invasion, he fought in the snowy forests of Finland in temperatures below −30 °C. His excellent knowledge of the terrain, endurance, camouflage and exceptional accuracy made him one of the most effective snipers in history.
At the end of the war, Gäyügä was seriously wounded in the face, but survived and lived to the age of 96.
The story of his struggle and resistance became a symbol of discipline, endurance and readiness to confront significantly superior enemy forces.
